Stuart Horse Trials -Thursday the 17th : Where it all begins... the "Novice" level... for horses and for riders. The course is only a mile long, and has about 17 jumps. None are too big...but some are still pretty scary. I walked the entire course and took photos of each of the novice jumps. There is also a series of jump photos at the water combination, showing the different levels. Black numbers on white background - that's Novice level. White letter on black - that's training level. White numbers on green background - that's preliminary level and the top level... white numbers on red background is for the CIC** and Intermediate levels.

Stuart Horse Trials CIC** and Intermediate : This is the highest level of competition at Stuart. The "Olympic" level horses and their riders. I stayed at the "big oxer" for this entire division. This jump provides some dramatic shots of horse and rider ability.

Stuart Horse Trials 2008 Preliminary XC : It was fun to see horses from last year that have "moved up" from the training level to the Prelim level. Tougher course... bigger jumps. Good action. I have several jumps photographed in this division.
